Our newest sport, but one that is fast growing in popularity
Originating in Mexico, and having been a popular fixture in mainland Europe for a number of years, padel is now one of the fastest growing racket sports in the UK. It is no exception here at ILTSC!
Since the grand opening of our padel court in March 2023, large numbers of our members (and guests) have joined the growing number of ‘padel addicts’ nationwide.
It sits as a perfect accompaniment to tennis or squash, with a lot of the skills needed in tennis & squash suiting padel very nicely.
Alternatively, padel is also a fantastic gateway into racket sports, with it’s user-friendly and sociable nature being ideal for new players. Our increasing programme of padel activity offers something for everyone!
