And just like that, the Lexus Ilkley Trophy is over for another year and what a week it was! Despite some battles with the weather, we saw thousands of fans turn up each day to enjoy world class tennis with family and friends. It’s safe to say, the Wimbledon of the North once again lived up to it’s expectations and we are looking forward to being back in 2025 already.
Ilkley Open 2024 – 28th July – 3rd August – Open to all age groups. After winning Yorkshire competition of the year in 2023, we’re looking to make the event even bigger this year!
It’s starting to get very exciting here at the club with less than 4 weeks to go until the Ilkley Trophy, as well as lots of club developments taking place!
Eight hours into the 11 hour flight to Mexico City, I was wondering why we didn’t upgrade our seats for extra legroom . With 10 days of tennis at altitude and temperatures reaching 34 degrees ,we need all the help we can get!….

Now that we’ve made it to British Summer time we can finally enjoy some lighter evenings. It’s going to be a busy few months here at the club with lots of exciting developments taking place and plenty to look forward to!
As we find ourselves in March let’s hope that we start to see some Spring weather on its way soon! In the meantime we’ve got plenty planned for everyone in the coming months and for summer.
February has officially flown by, but with some brighter mornings and longer evenings, it feels like Spring is finally on its way!
