Over the last 25 years in the fitness industry I’ve worked with every level of gym user imaginable. Having worked with international athletes to those who are terrified of the free weights, I’ve seen it all but the training ethos is the same for everyone “try do a little more than I did last time”.
I love training in the gym and want other people to feel the same way about using weights. The health benefits of weights are huge but the mental health benefits are even bigger.
The gym is just a big playground, lets play! You may be surprised what you can actually achieve.
I’ve been involved in sport and exercise from a young age, growing up competing in cross country and fell-running. Competing in running helped me gain an understanding of how to adapt training towards a specific goal, and the importance of consistently applied effort and intensity in this process. I now apply the same mentality to my own training in the gym, and enjoy helping others do the same – no matter how different their goals may be to my own.
I believe that understanding my clients’ individual psychology is key to helping them reach their fitness goals. The factors preventing most people from training consistently are mental rather than physical, so helping change their mindset in relation to exercise can be important to help people achieve lasting and sustainable change. I help people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels establish healthy habits and build confidence strength training- whether the goal is increased muscle mass, improved strength and mobility, fat loss, injury rehabilitation or sports performance. My favourite part of my job is seeing the positive impact that regular strength training can have on my clients’ mental wellbeing.
My purpose is to help you feel better, get stronger and improve your health – in a way that fits your life forever. Whether you want to learn to handstand, feel strong and energetic or you’re just a bit ‘stuck’, I’ll meet you where you are now.
My experience in strength training, pilates and cycling combined with my passion for the outdoors, means I can teach you how to cherry pick your training to suit you… So you know what you’re doing, move better and feel good doing the things you enjoy.
I am also a passionate and experienced Cancer & Excercise Specialist, with over 5 years experience working as an NHS Personal Trainer for Oncology, supporting patients at any point from diagnosis to those living with cancer. I am confident in making activity accessable, safe and hopefully fun.
Enthusiastic about my own personal fitness, in 2019 I changed careers and qualified as a Level 3 fitness instructor & personal trainer. Previously, after graduating from University, I had a varied 25+ year career, primarily in sales & marketing.
As a personal trainer to a wide range of ages and abilities I am passionate about functional training, enhancing clients lives by developing their physical & mental strength and cardio fitness.
Qualified as a Les Mills GRIT (HIIT) Instructor I am a keen runner & completed my 1st marathon in 2022. I have a great passion for Spin using multiple music genres to enhance these sessions; together with studio and circuit classes.
I’m a dedicated personal trainer specialising in menopause and senior fitness. I’m passionate about empowering mid-life and older adults to lead vibrant lives and have more than a decade experience crafting workouts that prioritise fun, functionality and balance.
My approach focuses on strength, flexibility and functional
movement. I’m aiming not only for fitness but also to support hormone balance through perimenopause, menopause and beyond.
As a mid-lifer myself I understand that many of us may be dealing with physical and/or health challenges. I will deliver a personalised programme adapted to your requirements that will enable you to achieve results through challenging you in the right way. Guidance on
nutrition, stress management and lifestyle adjustments also form an integral part of my approach.
My love for movement started 10years ago when I began practising Yoga. I was drawn to this practice as it helped me quieten my mind during a busy period in my life. This led me to go to India in 2017 and undertake a teacher training programme and where I lived for a period of time.
I returned to the UK in 2019 and since then became a full time Yoga teacher. I also began incorporating more movement disciplines into my routine, which led to me completing my Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification.
I’m passionate about helping people feel more comfortable in their bodies and find joy in movement. I hope to continue expanding my knowledge and ensure that exercise is always accessible and inclusive.
Hi I’m Mabel, I’m an aspiring personal trainer and a Level 2 Fitness instructor with a passion for fitness and wellbeing. I think it’s incredibly important to look after both our mind and body, I hope to help people feel comfortable and welcome in the gym environment and be any assistance in your personal fitness journey no matter your level!
I have always been involved in sports (hockey and netball) along with the gym consistently from a young age. I try and inspire the people around me- I believe nothing needs to be taken too seriously and exercise should be a positive part of your day to day life (while pushing yourself of course!), let me help you become the best version of yourself inside and out.
During my adolescence I competed in numerous junior bodybuilding competitions which led me into becoming a Personal Trainer. As I’ve matured, my interests have developed and grown from pure body building into a passion for functional training, CrossFit and mobility.
My interests in health and wellbeing sparked my interest in Psychology which I’ve been studying over the last 5years. I like to apply a more holistic approach with my clients and help them reach their individual goals.
